The Department of
Anthropology at Macalester College invites applications for a tenure
track position in biological anthropology at the Assistant Professor
level to begin Fall, 2008. Applicants should have the Ph.D. in hand by
time of appointment, substantial fieldwork experience and show promise
of sound scholarship. The department seeks a candidate broadly trained
in the four fields; specialization open. Candidates should be prepared
to teach introductory four-field courses in anthropology. The ability to
teach quantitative methods and/or medical anthropology is a plus.
